This geospatial dataset represents the locations of voting polls in Fulton County, Georgia. A voting poll, also known as a polling place or polling station, is a designated location for elligible citizens to cast their votes in political elections. Fulton County is divided into over 300 voter precincts. Each precinct has a poll to which voters who reside within the precinct are assigned for the purpose of casting their votes. A poll is generally located in its associated precinct, although for precincts in which there is no appropriate facility to serve as a polling place, the poll may lie in a neighboring precinct. Poll locations generally stay the same from election to election, although as precincts are reconfigured, new polling locations are created to serve newly formed precincts. Th e Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections is responsble for the establishment of voting polls.
The Voting Polls dataset is used in maps and mapping applications to illustrate the location of polls to inform the public and to for official notification of a change to a voting poll location.

The Municipal Voting Polls dataset is used in maps and mapping applications to illustrate the location of polls to inform the public and for official notification of a change to a voting poll location. Milton and Palmetto have established new municipal polling locations in 2023. Other cities have the same voting polls corresponding to the state/county precincts polling locations.
